The Oroville Southside Community Center, owned and operated by OSCIA and is a vibrant hub serving a diverse community. Our doors are open for various events such as weddings, meetings, and community gatherings. We operate an early childcare program and provide a Family Resource Center.

Additionally, the center organizes food distributions, senior dances, and meetings for local nonprofit organizations. Annually, we host community events like a Thanksgiving dinner, a Christmas bike giveaway, an Easter egg hunt, and a safety awareness day featuring over 80 vendors.

Our facility offers health screenings, including eye exams and dental services, through partnerships with local doctors. We conduct a yearly job fair and are actively addressing food insecurity by launching an agriculture program to educate the community on growing their own food. Plans also include establishing a community garden on our premises to further support our community’s needs.

Rental Information

The Southside Oroville Community Center provides a spacious multi-purpose room, a small conference room, and beautiful grounds in a setting that sits on top of a hill with a view of the surrounding mountains. All three spaces are available to rent and offer commercial kitchen accessibility, audio-visual equipment, the use of tables and chairs, access to restrooms, and ample parking to help you have a successful event.

Multi-Purpose Room The multi-purpose room features a space that comfortably accommodates 300 people. Its bright, neutral, and clean interior provides the perfect backdrop for fundraisers, wedding receptions, award ceremonies, or other large events. The room can be transformed to reflect the look and feel of your event and will be sure to have guests raving about an enjoyable experience.

  • Set up and take down for the event is considered part of the use time.
  • A $1,000 cleaning deposit is required for the use of the kitchen and/or multipurpose room.
  • Licensed security may be required when alcohol is sold or served.
  • ABC License is required for events where alcohol is sold.
  • A janitorial cleaning fee will be applied to all events.
  • Rental fees and deposit need to be PAID IN FULL to secure the date for the event.
